Due to the national crisis we are facing globally, everyone was affected, and everybody suffered. We can’t deny the fact that the students’ education is at stake, and it is deeply bruised by this pandemic. That is why the Department of Education (DepEd) created learning options for the students to give them choices on how they would do their studies in their most preferable way.
Hence, in the month of June, Northeastern Mindanao Academy’s faculty and staff together with the newly employed teachers started creating modules in line with DepEd’s new curriculum guide following the Most Essential Learning Competencies. And that’s a lot of work to do! Papers after papers and revisions after revisions just to make sure that none of the important points were excluded in the modules. This pandemic really is making everyone run an extra mile, however, it was never against any rules to not put your heart into what you are doing, same goes for the teachers, and even if we are placed on a battlefield right now, let us give everyone the benefit of the doubt that we can still do good in our job in spite of this bittersweet situation.
